PBO Studio

PBO Studio is the in-app archive workspace for opening .pbo files, exploring their tree, and previewing or exporting entries.

Open a PBO

• Use Open in the toolbar, or
• Double-click a .pbo in Explorer if file associations are enabled, or
• Right-click → Extract PBO when that association is installed.

Common tasks

• Expand folders in the tree to inspect packed paths
• Select entries to preview when a previewer is available
• Export selected files or folders to disk
• Open entries with an external editor when detected
